We are going to add a new section to this blog with photos of floors from around the world and our region of the east coast that amaze us. As a floor guy the first thing I notice when I walk in a building is the floors. I know that many of you are like me. We are soon to take a trip half way around the world and are going to see some amazing floors. From the Taj Mahal to accent ruins of Angkor Wat. But for our first floor let’s look at one a little close to home.
30 Rockefeller Center New York City
There is a lot to look at when you walk into the building. Art Deco murals on walls and on the ceilings. But what caught my eye was the black terrazzo floors inlaid with brass designs. I also noticed that this floor is waxed not my favorite thing to see. But what an amazing iconic building.
